i read on the net the other day Indian Railways has devoted a train from its fleet to be changed in to a hospital on the track. Its a wonderful idea that I think a lot of countries where medical care is not readily available to people should think about adopting.

Sounds like a good idea but the Indian railways has a bad security level as well. From when I've followed Asian news there are train accidents quite frequently in India so such a train could work both ways. I would think a mobile hospital like this would be a team of doctors traveling onboard with some facilities to carry patients to bigger facilities but the train would not change its track, would it? It would still be going to the towns it goes to already. A lot more has to be done but we can't be skeptical of everything, I guess…it is a positive development.
