I am not that good at golf but boy when i tried, it I was even worse at snowgolf. Its fun sport and they are having the world chmpionships in Obertauern, Austria from 24th to 26th January. IF someone is living around there do visit and have fun

I've only ever tried golf a few times and needless to say I have an artistic flair with it...and artists do not like playing on the canvas alone :D

Do you know how winter golf is played though? not in snow, right?

Well when I said winter golf, I actually meant snow golf. And yeah it is played on the canvas alone so maybe not really for the artistic type:P
They play it a lot in Europe and have been having world championships since sometime late 90's. Game itself started way back in 1890's

Snow golf is fun. I've only played with friends and considering I am not exceptionally good at the regular game, it was a whole lot of laughs. We played with a green tennis ball but I think the tournaments are played with real golf balls that are florescent.

ok, we tried snow golf today, it was great fun, though it was a friends thing with no real competition but the tennis ball worked well and I heard they are having a local tournament in our community, I'm going to sign up and have some fun. Maybe I'll learn to hold the bat or club, whatever it is :P

It has taken me so much time, effort, not to mention the money spent on the lessons, to get my swing close to the normal golf swing that I have become scared of holding any other type of bat or club......given up baseball as well........ come winter or summer, the only golf I will ever play is the the green golf:D
