It seems like a small matter but in some countries, especially in the underdeveloped countries, the food we get to eat is harsh on stomach. I was in India last summer and I had an upset stomach the whole time. Think something can be done about it?

Would have been a miracle to not come off with an upset stomach from India; you are not used to their cuisine and if you ate from a roadside 'dhaba' (cheap restaurant) or even from quite a few of the chick eateries, the hygiene would be doubtful. Always buy sealed bottles of filtered water to drink, preferably a recognized brand and one with the correct spellings on the label too. There are counterfeits around as well. Its great to try out local food, you can't enjoy the destination with out enjoying their food but be careful about what you eat and where you eat it.

Well, watch the water. Don't drink the local tap. That's one reason to get an upset stomach, not to mention the possibility of LBM.
