I am looking for some rock climbing locations. I have heard about The Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas and Oklahoma but I am not sure about how hard these are in terms of difficulty level. Its supposed to be a group expedition so we are planning on learning a little for the noobs and a couple of my friends are good climbers, ones who actually have tried it before. Must own up though, I can't take heights too well and this is for a friend as well ;)

For those looking for a location near Sydney, the Blue Mountains range is a place where everyone can find a climb to suit them. Its sandstone eroded by water and its perfect for everyone. I would advise avoiding those for now though. Winter is the best weather for the area and December to February is only for the desperate!

Peek District in UK is one of the most popular there. There are both gritstone and limestone crags over there and difficulty varies so its probably a place for all rock climbers.

Only time I've ever been able to try the sport was in Perth, the Beta has a lot of routes, at least 60, I think. Quite a few are low grade climbs for the likes of me and then there are harder ones I'd not go near while I'm sane. :P
