Really, is there a dearth of honeymoon vacations taken by couples these days? Or just a dearth of ideas? Or do you guys just don’t want to share? :D

hunh...........the vacation would be anything like any other nice vacation to a nice romantic or even non romantic but of couple's interest, location.
Only the fact that its the first vacation after marriage makes it a 'honeymoon' and that bit, I don't think I want to share with anyone anyway:).
the vacation bit, well we explored the whole north coast of NSW, in wonderful weather conditions ( the month being March), and you can come down anytime to enjoy the same... GOOD IDEA is it not????:D

Sorry, haven't had the honor or opportunity to take that one (hopefully....hehe)special vacation. One thing that I know is that when I do take it, it will be a special one.........so anyone interested in sharing that with me:D

Contrary to popular opinion, my fiancé and I would rather visit a location to explore and enjoy instead of a beach or a poolside. Having said that, she definitely refuses to go visit Chichen Itza with me on our honeymoon :P

I'd advise not getting married in peak tourist season, everything on your honeymoon would cost double otherwise :P

Secondly, avoid mega-resorts. There is so much beauty in nature to explore but people think the biggest hotels will give them pleasure, I think that only dents the pocket and in the end, she'd rather prefer if you got her a gold chain instead ;)

Gold????? gone are those golden days.....these days only diamonds last forever......hehe

Seems to me that all you need for a great honeymoon is a lock on the door....=)
