A ship named Alvei has gone missing in the Pacific. It had on board 4 Aussies, a Brit, one NewZelander and 3 Americans.
The ship started off from Vanuatu on Nov 13th and was to reach NewZealand on 1st December, but has gone missing. There have been no sightings and no contacts by anyone on board, sounds strange in this day and age. Hopefully they are still out there sailing somewhere.

An update.....
They found the ship sailing peacefully in the waters. It's a 100 year old ship and according to the people on board, they met some unfavorable winds and were out of radio range and were just taking it easy. They will reach New Zealand in about 8 to 10 days. So a happy ending I guess:D
