Have you ever wanted to live or at least see a place where no expense has been spared? The Turkish Mardan Palace, located in Antalya is exactly that – a hotel where every corner radiates luxury. And it might be a dangerous venture, with the economical crisis and all, but the Russian billionaire, Telman Ismailov, ignored all odds when building the $1.65 billion resort.

This oasis with 560 rooms in the middle of the Riviera is the place where you’ll find out what true Turkish hospitality really means. The glamorous hotel had a majestic opening, with the presence of such stars as Sharon Stone, Richard Gere, Paris Hilton, Monica Bellucci and Seal, serving these stars beluga caviar, lobsters and Dom Perignon.

All the guest rooms are exquisitely decorated in an architecture inspired by the old Ottoman Empire (as an an ode to Dolmabahçe Palace), combined with stained glass art. The rooms also have a LCD TV, WiFi and a 24h butler service. For having lunch in any international flavor or a nice cocktail, there are 11 restaurants and 14 bars at your disposal. Dining can be done in a superb restaurant with five aquariums on its walls. There’s also a three-story night club and some spectacular laser and music shows for the hotel’s guest.

The glorious decorations are a combination of several luxurios elements such as: 23,000 sq metres of Italian marble, 10,000 sq m of gold leaf, crystal balusters and Hermès crockery. And that’s not all! There’s also a 7,500 sq m Mardan Spa, a golf course with 18 holes and a huge beach with thousands of tons of white sand brought from Egypt.

With such facilities, this well-endowed hotel is ideal for a business meeting, a relaxing holiday or a perfect honeymoon. Just remember to check the prices before planning your trip to Antalya.
