Supercars on Ice in Norway

What do you get when you take a bunch of ultra-performance sports, rally and muscle cars, daredevil drivers and a frozen lake? Why the Ferdinand Ice Festival in the tiny hamlet of Drevsjo, Norway, of course. Every year a cabal of car fanatics and journalists roll in to witness the likes of Lamborghinis, Porsche 911 GT3s and Lotus Elises navigate a 4.4 km-long iceway at ludicrous speeds. The star of the show this year was the all-electric Tesla Roadster, which drew more than the usual cadre of spectators up from Oslo (and down from Trondheim).
