Have you ever driven up to what you thought would be a spectacular hotel only to find you’re in the worst part of the city or neighborhood? We asked our members to vote for Asia’s Best Hotels and Resorts and over 7,200 hotels were included in the process.
Thankfully, avid travelers from around the world chimed in with their picks for the best located hotels. In the category Location, the following are your Top 5 picks:
5. Sofitel Centara Grand Resort and Villas, Hua Hin (Hua Hin, Thailand)

A vacation in Hua Hin should be fun and relaxing – not stressful. Only a few minutes away you’ll find the Som Roi Yot National Park, the Klai Kangwon Palace, and several other popular attractions. If you’d like to stay closer to your room, the landscaped gardens surrounding the hotel are perfect for an evening stroll.
4. Lebua at State Tower (Bangkok, Thailand)
Lebua at State Tower is close to the area’s business district to be convenient but far enough away to keep visitors from feeling like they’re in a concrete cage. Most of the rooms have a view of the stunning Chao Phraya River and tourists will enjoy a close proximity to a number of stunning attractions, including the Grand Palace and Vimanmek Palace.
3. Swissotel The Stamford (Marina Bay, Singapore)
Not every hotel can be located in the heart of an area that thrives the way Singapore does. Guests at this hotel will enjoy being within easy reach of the business district, entertainment venues, cultural landmarks, and even local shopping!
2. Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
This incredible five-star hotel is found along Jalan Bukit Bintang and is perfectly located amidst a number of stunning attractions in Kuala Lumpur. Be prepared to shop in the upscale Starhill Gallery, KL Plaza, and other nearby luxury shopping districts.
1. Asia Hotel Hue (Hue, Vietnam)
Asia Hotel Hue may not be the largest hotel in Asia, but it’s one of the most conveniently located. There are plenty of local attractions in Hue, but the nearby Hue Train Station makes it easy to get to and from any major business event, shopping mall, or local restaurant!

Are you kidding? Lebua at State Tower? That’s not a good location in Bangkok. It’s not even close to the skytrain station! plus the surrounding area isn’t that nice! Right next to public hospital and very crowded.
