Faridabad & Ghaziabad are satellite towns to new delhi, which is the capital of india.. Faridabad, Nodia, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Bahadurgarh & Sonepat are satellite towns that border delhi and along with delhi essentially form a single metropolis.. i.e the National Capital Region of Delhi as it is officially called… There was a time when there was some undeveloped/agricultural area between the delhi city proper and these satellite towns.. Nowadays these all form one big city.. Listing 2 of these as separete cities in this list can be slightly misleading.. people living in one of these areas routinely work in another area..
