How about a taste of a world class beach vacation with a cultural twist? If you are the type of person who is looking for some architectural wonders on your vacation or beach life, the small city of Trogir in Croatia is the perfect place to satisfy your craving.

Located on the eastern coastline of the Adriatic Sea in the Split-Dalmatian County at the west entrance to the Bay of Kastela, Trogir is a small coast town between the Island of Ciovo and the mainland. With its richness in architectural beauty and many recreational and cultural activities for you and your family to enjoy, Trogir offers its visitors the opportunity to go back to medieval times.
It took thousands of years and collective efforts of over thousands of sculpture artists for Trogir to be what it is today. Influenced by Roman, Greek and Venetian architecture, culture and with amazing sculptures that are charming enough to cause head turns at every corner, in 1997, the United Nations declared Trogir a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

With beautiful early churches, historical monuments, attractive and fashionable restaurants with some of the most amazing sea food in the world, spending a whole day of tour and sight-seeing is literally not enough for this amazing place, since the town itself is rich in culture.
But even if you are not into architecture that much, Trogir still has options that will allow you to enjoy your vacation with a relaxing closeness to nature. Trogir is also rich in marine beauty with world class beaches on its lovely, serene and vast coastline.

You can enjoy a walk along and a dip in the beautiful sparkling blue waters under the perfect Mediterranean climate. Pantan, Okrug, Madena, and Kava beaches are just a few of the recommended places that you can visit while you are in Trogir. And when the night falls, the beach sidebars will entertain you and take care of your “entertainment needs”.
Trogir is truly a dream vacation that you will surely love. Accommodation is also not a problem while you’re in here giving travelers an option to choose from a wide range of hotels and villas that varies and suits any budget. Also take our advice and take your camera with you at night when you get to visit the Marina. It’s amazing how you’ll get to see some of the most amazing yachts in the world … right in front of you.

Croatia is an excellent chioce for a vacation: it’s cheap, the food is great (try a squid ink risotto) and the locals are friendly. I have visited Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Korcula, Hvar Island and Split. Dubrovnik and Hvar Island were my favorites.
