One of the best places is at the wreck site of the SS President Coolidge that is located offshore of Espiritu Santo Island, near the bustling city of Luganville. With it being completely surrounded by ocean, one thing that you won’t miss in Vanuatu is eating fish. There are many eateries that cater to tourists that serve fish in so many different varieties, but mainly cooked over hot stones or baked on large tropical leaves.

There are islands in the Vanuatu archipelago that have never even used a money system economy– they are so isolated that they still barter and trade their ware, hence why paying them a visit only takes you back in time and makes you forget about the busy days at the office or the hustled lives we have in the city.
