The Stunning Vanuatu Islands

An unspoiled archipelago of 83 islands created by 7 still-active volcanoes, with some of the friendliest local people that you’ll find anywhere, Vanuatu is a must if you’re in these parts of Asia. Moreover, the coastline of Vanuatu has some of the most breathtaking undeveloped pristine beaches to shipwreck on.

Among the best things to see while in Vanuatu, the Mount Yasur Volcano on Tanna Island is known worldwide for being a volcano that you can walk to within 500m of the edge of its crater opening.
Also, the diving off the coast of Vanuatu is phenomenal. There are over a hundred different spots to enjoy for all different levels of diving, from the inexperienced beginner to the long time professional diver. One of the best places is at the wreck site of the SS President Coolidge that is located offshore of Espiritu Santo Island, near the bustling city of Luganville. Diving enthusiasts come from all over the world to dive at the wreck as it’s not only highly accessible but it’s also one of the largest in the world.

With it being completely surrounded by ocean, one thing that you won’t miss in Vanuatu is eating fish. There are many eateries that cater to tourists that serve fish in so many different varieties, but mainly cooked over hot stones or baked on large tropical leaves.
There are islands in the Vanuatu archipelago that have never even used a money system economy– they are so isolated that they still barter and trade their ware, hence why paying them a visit only takes you back in time and makes you forget about the busy days at the office or the hustled lives we have in the city.

Vanuatu is nothing short of breathtaking. Soak up the South Pacific culture that is prevalent in theses beautiful one-of-a-kind islands. The tribal communities are friendly and ready to educate tourists on their rich ancient culture. Explore the deep caverns within the many island chains. Relax in a lovely freshwater lagoon that has a cascading waterfall making its natural mystic calming music in the distance.

Vanuatu is a tropical paradise and you’ll learn it yourself if you choose it as your summer destination this year.

When in Bali, blowing your nose in public is likely to gross everyone out within hearing distance.
It’s important to note that compared with many places in the world, Bali is fairly safe. There are some hassles from the avaricious, but most visitors face many more dangers at home. Petty theft occurs but it is not prevalent.
