I have to say that on a hot Roman day there is nothing quite as refreshing as Procuitto and melon. The hotels around Via Veneto are very convenient for most of the sight of Rome. Try to go to some of the little side street away from the tourist areas. My friends and I found a fabulous local bar in Rome, we even got treated to a free drink by the owner.

Always had layers of pizza toppings until I went to Naples, there is no beating the topping with just mozzarella and tomatoes. It tasted wonderful and I was amazed that it didn't taste as good when my wife tried it at home!

lol ok well I thought there was something amiss when I got a glare for insisting I only wanted pasta. I found out spaghetti with meatballs is not really an Italian dish. Amazing, no?
